The annual NAMM Show, held in Anaheim, California, is the world’s largest trade show for the music industry. This year’s NAMM Show, on April 13 and 14, we worked on a specific agenda to visit companies that might be interested in Mexicali as a Nearshore opportunity. The National Association of Music Merchants Show 2023 featured more than 2,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest musical instruments, gear, and technology.
One of the highlights of this year’s NAMM Show was that we managed to generate approaches with hardware development companies, specifically professional headphones, amplifiers, microphones, recording consoles for professional music studios, pedals, and acoustic systems for music studios. This networking allowed us to share with other companies the strong existing industry in Mexicali, in the electronics and metalworking sector.
Mexicali EDC attended 14 meetings with several companies belonging to the electronic and metal-mechanic sector.
Overall, the NAMM Show continues to be a must-attend event for anyone involved in the music industry. From the latest gear and technology to live performances and networking opportunities, the show offers something for everyone.
