French Embassy visits Baja California

Last week, the French Embassy and BPIFrance paid a visit to Baja California State in Mexico. The visit was aimed to strengthen the Aerospace industry’s ties between France and Baja California.

During the visit, French Representatives and Businessmen met with Rodolfo Andrade, the State’s sub-secretary of Economy and other government officials to visit important aerospace companies that have settled manufacturing facilities in the state, including Honeywell, Gulfstream, and Collins Aerospace. Claudia Cobieya, CETYS University Corporate Relations Director, presented the educational advances and innovations in the engineering and robotics careers offered by the institution.

Some of the key topics discussed during the networking event was the State’s capabilities and opportunities that directly affect the aerospace industry’s supply system. The visit also extended to Tijuana and Ensenada, where the French Embassy and Businessmen visited Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California’s wine and vineyard industry.

This visit to Baja California was an important step towards reinforcing the business connections between France and Mexico. By deepening cultural and economic ties, the two countries will be better positioned to navigate the ongoing economic challenges. As the world continues to grapple with the challenges of the pandemic, it is more important than ever for countries to work together and build stronger ties between nations.
